Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us when you use WIOS. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and Alexis FZC LLC, CWS-1V-209596, 2nd Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Ajman, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). If you use WIOS for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate details, including your full name, email and mobile number, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password and authenticator app safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@wios.app if you suspect misuse.
  • You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Your content

You own the information you add. You give us permission to store and process it to run WIOS for you, including calculating scores and sharing it with organizations as you direct. You confirm that what you add is truthful and that you have the right to share it, including recommendations and documents from others. Do not upload anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes others' rights. You are solely responsible for your content and for what you share with others.

4. Organizations using WIOS

  • Use profile data only for the purpose a person shared it for, and in line with applicable data protection and employment law.
  • WIOS supports decisions; it does not make them. Hiring, promotion and other decisions are yours, must be made by a person, and must not be based solely on a WIOS score. Do not use WIOS to discriminate unlawfully.
  • You are responsible for the people you invite and the roles you give them.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break or bypass security, access other organizations' data, scrape or bulk-export others' profiles, reverse engineer WIOS, send spam, or use WIOS in a way that harms others or the service.

6. Plans, payment and invoices

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through PayPal or Payoneer and renew until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay.
  • We issue an invoice for every payment. If we are registered for VAT in the UAE, VAT is added at the applicable rate and shown on a tax invoice.
  • You can cancel at any time in Billing; your plan stays active until the end of the paid month. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires or we agree otherwise.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next billing period.

7. No guarantees about outcomes

  • WIOS is a tool. We do not guarantee that you will find a job, a candidate, a promotion, a training place or any business result, or that any match, score, report or improvement plan is complete, accurate or suitable for your purpose.
  • We do not verify the identity, qualifications, certificates, references, employment history or claims of any user or organization. Do your own checks before relying on them.
  • Scores, reports, job descriptions and other text produced by WIOS, including by artificial intelligence, are suggestions only and may contain mistakes. Review them before you use them.
  • We are not a party to any employment, recruitment, training or other agreement between users or organizations, and we are not an employer, recruitment agency or training provider for those agreements.

8. Availability and changes

WIOS is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee WIOS will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We may improve, change, suspend or withdraw features; if a change significantly reduces a paid feature, we will tell you in advance. Keep your own copies of important information.

9. Third-party services

If you connect LinkedIn data, a CRM, an AI service, a payment provider or another service, your use of that service is governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or what they do with data you send them.

10. Organizations and personal data

When an organization uses WIOS for its own workforce or hiring, it is the controller of that personal data and we process it on its instructions. The organization is responsible for having a lawful basis, informing its people, and complying with UAE employment and data protection law. We keep that data confidential and secure, use it only to provide WIOS, use sub-processors under contract, help with rights requests, and tell the organization without undue delay about a breach affecting its data.

11. Suspension and closing accounts

You may delete your account at any time in Account & security. We may suspend, restrict or close any account, remove content, or refuse service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe the account breaches these terms or the law, puts others or WIOS at risk, or if payment fails. We will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to compensate us and our staff for any claims, losses, fines and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your breach of these terms or the law, or (for organizations) your hiring, employment and data protection decisions and practices.

13. Limits on our liability

  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, employment, data or goodwill.
  • We are not liable for decisions you or an organization make using WIOS, for the conduct or content of other users or organizations, or for third-party services.
  • Our total liability for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months, or AED 100 if you did not pay us anything.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or hosting outages, attacks, government action or natural events.
  • Any claim must be brought within one year of the event that caused it, where the law allows.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Our platform

WIOS, its software, design, scoring methods and brand belong to us or our licensors. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use WIOS under these terms. We may use anonymized and aggregated information that does not identify you or your organization to run, secure and improve WIOS. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation to you.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you by email or in WIOS at least 14 days in advance, unless the change is needed for legal or security reasons. If you keep using WIOS after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you don't agree, you can close your account.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Ajman and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Ajman have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

17. General

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Notice are the whole agreement between us about WIOS. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over WIOS. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 7, 12, 13 and 16) continue after your account is closed. If these terms are translated, the English version prevails.
